Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing electrical parts for a variety of hydraulic and mechanical machineries. This includes construction vehicles, cranes, drilling rigs components, and PLC designs.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. Ensure proper functioning of electrical components in machinery and production lines.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery and equipment. Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to identify electrical problems.
- Electrical System Design: Design and implement electrical systems, including control panels and wiring layouts. Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems for automated machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines.
- Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and test electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adjust and repair machinery components to meet specifications.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of electrical parts and supplies. Order and restock parts as needed to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to coordinate maintenance and repair activities. Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform immediate repairs to minimize downtime. Be available for on-call support to address urgent electrical issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in the hydraulic and mechanical machinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components used in heavy machinery, Heavy vehicles, cranes, and drilling rigs.
- Experience with PLC design and implementation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work.
