Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Kuwait Gulf Hydraulics (KGH). As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and repair of hydraulic systems, working closely with our team of technicians to ensure the successful implementation of hydraulic solutions across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot hydraulic system failures and suggest repair scope of work.
  • Select appropriate hydraulic components and parts, considering factors such as pressure, flow rate, and compatibility.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians during the assembly, installation, and testing phases.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and technicians to understand project goals and constraints.
  • Design hydraulic circuits and systems according to project requirements and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges encountered during the design or implementation process.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and performance of hydraulic systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in hydraulic engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hydraulic system design, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software and Auto CAD tools.
  • Thorough understanding of hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, actuators, Motors and control Panels, along with their specifications and performance characteristics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality results within established deadlines.
